Common issues & maintenance
AH08 / 17V368 covers specified cars. Confirm VIN applicability and documented repair.
WC55 covered certain 2011–2013 Cayenne engines. Check campaign history when investigating oil or running faults.
Persistent noise or oil consumption warrants diagnosis and possible borescope inspection. Cylinder scoring is a condition to check, not a certainty.
Maintain the correct oil level and approval, investigate cooling and oil leaks promptly and inspect ignition components. Service records should identify the exact engine variant, recalls and age-based maintenance.
